Hello! I'M Mike Warren.

I’m a Full-Stack Web Developer trained by DigitalCrafts (remote).

My passion for programming sparked with my interest in technology being as I grew up with its evolutions (Digital Native). I am a collaborative team player and leader. Ambitious and driven, I pride myself on learning quickly and always keeping a positive attitude in the face of adversity.

This group project was created to be a one-stop website for a busy individual to start their day. A user can catch up on news, see active stock market prices, check out local weather, and view their horoscope while enjoying a great cup of coffee. They are able to view daily affirmations, suggested yoga exercises, nutrition tips, and nutrition quiz questions. The app encourages a seamless transition, allowing the user to quickly and easily catch up on any new developments that occurred while they were sleeping, thus helping them to have a prepared and productive day!

This group project had us heading for the fridge to find out what we can eat. We set up a form that lets you select the items you have in your kitchen, then it hits the API and you see recipes that include your item(s). You are most likely not going to have all the ingredients, so from the recipe page you can choose which ingredients you need to add to your shopping list and then you have a shopping list for heading off to the store to complete your ingredients list. Once you've moved all the ingredients to aquired, the recipe is displayed at the top of the shopping list with a link to the preperation instructions on an external website.

This group project was created to provide a social platform that allows users to track their own applications and provide a community to support other developers in their job search. Once the user has applied for a position at a company, they are able to add their application to the application tracker page. This simultaneously updates the main feed to gain support from fellow job seekers on the app.
